Kenneth Chin

Kenneth is a 24 year old Deaf but speaking self-taught artist, based in Singapore.

He graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a diploma in Veterinary Technology. He has since worked for SEA Aquarium as a jelly aquarist for 2 years before going into illustration full-time.

It is quite evident in his works that Kenneth has lots of love for wildlife. He has been drawing animals since he was 3 years old. He wants to share his love for the less-loved animals so people will appreciate and protect the nature around us.

He is one of the only few natural science illustrators in Singapore. He pursues the idea of scientific art as part of global wildlife conservation efforts. Whilst at that, he enjoys exploring art mediums and styles hence you see a wide distinctive variation in his works.

He does traditional and digital medium for illustrations, depending on the project type and style.
